A Day in the Life of a Developer
28 Dec
Well as the Christmas period approaches I thought I would release some new screen grabs of the new BackendPro 1.0 UI. Its still in development but over the next few weeks I hope to be able to show more preview screengrabs of what’s to come.
Update: Just added another screenshot of the new preference screen. Its far cleaner than the old version and also quicker to navigate around.

Looks really promising.
i just came across BackendPro today when @Codeignitee posted the that pic in twitter.
i downloaded it and played around a bit with it, really it’s what i was looking for .
i’m really looking forward to BackendPro 1.0
Thanks for all your work
I’m glad to hear it. Its nice to see other people are spreading news of my App.
I will be very happy to read articles about how to create a widget and add to Backendpro. Please??
Sadly there are no articles about this. It uses a modular design using Matchbox. So any module designed to work with Matchbox should just work. You may need to do some tweeks to get it to work with all the BackendPro features.
Any progress you can update us with?!?
Well currently no new screenshots. Running into lots of module problems (hope CodeIgniter release their own module system soon).
So sadly, nothing to show, off for a week skiing so will update after that.
Any news about release? Thanks for so great work from Ukrainian fans of CI and BeP
.
Sadly I have been in hospital recently. It is coming along. Just finding time to work on it is minimal at the moment.
Hope you are better soon Adam!
I’m really looking forward to an update, and some articles would be great.
Why don’t you throw what you have put together up on github and let us developer types help you out!!
It is already on SVN on assebmla. http://svn2.assembla.com/svn/backendpro/branches/development/ You are more than welcome to download it and try it out.
You will need the schema, its posted here for now http://pastebin.com/Wd2V7z9G.
I am trying to get it in a state for people to start downloading and trying, thats my job this weekend.
