BackendPro 1.0 will be released when it is finished. I can’t say anything else. Its takings its time since I get nearly zero time at the moment to spend on it.

I won’t be allowing users to edit their profiles on the front end-but admin users will be able to do so backend.

I am think there will be a manual process to update from 0.6.1 but I don’t know yet, BackendPro 1.0 will be PHP 5.3 compatible.

I am still deciding on whether it will be for PHP 5 only as CodeIgniter 2.0 will be when its released.

It is already on SVN on assebmla. http://svn2.assembla.com/svn/backendpro/branches/development/ You are more than welcome to download it and try it out.

You will need the schema, its posted here for now http://pastebin.com/Wd2V7z9G.

I am trying to get it in a state for people to start downloading and trying, thats my job this weekend.

Sadly I have been in hospital recently. It is coming along. Just finding time to work on it is minimal at the moment.
